The Little Farm That Cares
A Place for All Creatures,
Large and Small
In January 2011, our dreams came true and we started a small farm in Central NJ. Our goal has always been to focus on livestock conservancy and sustainable living. We are members of the American Livestock Breeds Conservancy, helping to ensure the future of agriculture through the genetic conservation and promotion of endangered breeds of livestock and poultry. 100% of the proceeds from your purchases go directly to the care and maintenance of the Conservancy Livestock on the farm.
We have been active in Greyhound rescue for many, many years, and in a way it was the hounds that shaped our direction in life. It was only natural to name the homestead after the gentle creatures that share our life.
We are proud partners of Eco-Soap Bank, 501(c)(3), ensuring that all of our soap scraps and a full-size bar from every batch are donated directly. In addition, a monthly monetary donation supported by your purchases goes out to the group. We are also members of Greener Life Club - showing our dedication to green practices and sustainable living.

Mini Silky Goat Kids Breeding plans for fall are in the works, and our next round of kids should arrive in early 2026. Get on our contact list now to be notified of our breeding schedule early next year!
Magpie ducks Orders are closed for ducklings; I am still getting eggs and can ship if desired. Last hatch is expected July 28th, any extra ducklings will be offered to our contact list after orders are filled. I do not anticipate that there will be any sexed ducks available in 2025 due to high demand for ducklings.
Due to continued low hatch rates for Sebastopol goslings, I no longer offer shipping and am only taking names as a contact list. The 2022 season produced 4 stunning goslings! 2023 and 2024 hatching was unsuccessful, but 2025 produced 2 gorgeous goslings! Any additional goslings will be announced on arrival and available first come, first serve to the contact list.
Royal Palm Turkey laying season is over for 2025; I have 6 poults available now, most ready to be outside and off heat. These will be offered to our contact list again in late fall as juvenile sexed birds if they are not sold prior to. Reach out now to grab them before they’re gone! Due to the delicate nature of poults and the small size of my flock, I am not offering to ship turkey poults.
